bee mix clay with free hand sgraffito decoration on top of hand made doily (scheme from Japanese magazine) |
Crochet is what I am doing while resting... I got this passion from my mother who used to knit on her knitting machine and crocheting through the nights. I still remember her patiently crocheting little doilies with tiny metal hook, reading the schemes from German and Japanese magazine.
No wonder I have this love in my system too, and lately I have got into that Doilies- Mania as well, especially after I realized how beautiful it looks with my pottery decoration, and understanding its source...

Wonderful post and love the doilies and your work, it just gets better and better. My grandmother used to crochet doilies and I used to as well, seeing yours I may just have to give it a whirl again, you have some wonderful patterns in those.
Beautiful little pots. Blue and white always works so well and they look lovely on your doily.
Beautiful work-- the doillies and pots are gorgeous and go so well together! Keep up all your good work!
